Privately owned and operated, Greenlea Premier Meats has progressed from humble beginnings to a modern, expansive enterprise renowned for providing consistent quality and a high level of service.

Peter Egan, Greenlea’s founder spent his lifetime working in the New Zealand meat industry, first in the wholesale, retail side of the industry as a butcher in Gisborne, then in the export processing business before taking a senior role in the administrative side of the industry.

It was this wealth of experience that led to the formation of Greenlea Premier Meats in the early 1990’s, a company that would develop its own unique approach to present fine New Zealand meats to the rest of the world.

Today our Waikato based company has developed an international reputation for the consistent quality of our products and the high level of service we provide through strong relationships with our customers and suppliers.
